There will be no sneaky decisions made by the state government while people are distracted by the coronavirus crisis if Moorabool Mayor Dave Edwards has his way.
He has called on the state government to hit the pause button on making decisions on key local projects.
With a State-of-Emergency declared for Coronavirus, Cr Edwards says that decisions and consultation on planned projects should be put off because it is “impossible” for proper public consultation to occur during this time.
“It would be unfair for decisions to be made without adequate input from the local community,” Mayor Edwards said.
