VEC recommends ward boundary changes

The final report for the Moorabool Shire Council subdivision review has been released. In it, the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) recommends adjusting the boundaries of all wards, to ensure each voter is represented fairly at the next council general election.
Electoral Commissioner Warwick Gately AM said these recommended adjustments will help uphold the principle of “one vote, one value” for the upcoming local council general elections.
